The following candidates were selected at Democratic conventions for the November 3, 2026 election.

Connecticut Governor

Ned Lamont, third-term candidate for Connecticut Governor. Faces primary on Aug. 11, 2026 against challenger. Lamont is the first incumbent governor to face a primary since Ella Grasso in 1978.

Ethan Werstler, first-term candidate for Senator, 35th Senate District. District 35 comprises Ashford, Chaplin, Coventry, Eastford, Ellington (part of), Hampton, Stafford, Thompson (part of), Tolland, Union, Vernon, Willington, and Woodstock. See District Map.
